A felon is accused of stealing guns, ammunition, tools and credit cards from about a dozen vehicles in Cobb and Douglas counties, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Danny Craft, 44, was arrested Monday after a surveillance photo gave Austell investigators the tip they needed, Channel 2 reported.

Craft is accused of using stolen credit cards at gas stations, grocery stores and fast food restaurants, which led to the alleged surveillance photo that helped identify him and his vehicle, the news station reported.

On Tuesday, investigators spent 90 minutes executing a search warrant to look through Craft’s car, and they told Channel 2 they found a lot.

“This might be one of the biggest we’ve seen,” Austell Det. Isha Seaborn said.

They said multiple stolen, loaded guns were seized along with stolen ammunition, tools, credit cards and cellphones from his vehicle. Seaborn told Channel 2 that Craft was on parole after being found guilty of at least a dozen similar cases in the past in Cobb and Douglas counties.

“At any time a convicted felon or anyone who should not have possession of a weapon (does), it creates a great danger for everyone in the surrounding areas,” Seaborn said.

Donald Trump's administration deployed the military to Washington, D.C., in the name of fighting crime, and in an Aug. 11 news conference he mentioned the possibility of military being sent to other large American cities, all of which are led by Black, Democratic mayors. And while Atlanta wasn't included in Trump's list, the city fits that profile under Mayor Andre Dickens. (Photo Illustration: Philip Robibero / AJC | Source: Getty)
