An Atlanta man faces more than a dozen charges after he led Cobb County police on a chase with two children in the back seat of his car, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Police initially attempted to pull over Alhagi Jagne on South Cobb Drive on Thursday afternoon for driving with a suspended license, Channel 2 reported. But police said he refused to stop and sped through a Smyrna neighborhood on Kenwood Road.

The chase ended when Jagne, 27, slammed into the officer’s patrol car, forcing the vehicle into a nearby tree, according to the news station.

Police said they inspected the car and found two children, one of whom was not in a child safety seat.

An open bottle of liquor was also found in the car.

Jagne was also wanted on domestic violence charges by Atlanta police, according to Channel 2. He remains in the Cobb County jail without bond on 15 charges, including DUI, cruelty to children and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.
