A Cobb County mother allegedly smoked marijuana, then drove with her 5-month-old baby in the car and a semi-automatic Uzi in the trunk, according to police.

Katina Anne Maria Barbee was unsteady on her feet and had glassy eyes when she was approached by an officer at a Quik Trip on Barrett Parkway, her arrest warrant says. The interior of her 1997 Toyota Avalon smelled of marijuana, and 3 grams of suspected marijuana was found in a plastic bag in the center console Friday night, police said.

In the trunk, the officer found a semi-automatic gun wrapped in a sweatshirt, the warrant says.

Barbee, of Marietta, was charged with reckless conduct and drug possession and booked into the Cobb jail. She was released Saturday afternoon after posting $3,500 bond, booking records showed.

A man with Barbee, Jaron Johnson, was also arrested and charged with drug possession. He was released early Monday after posting $1,000 bond, records showed.
