Nearly two months after authorities said a man and woman had burglarized seven Home Depots across metro Atlanta, police believe a second burglary crew is at work.
They’re now trying to figure out if the two alleged burglary crews are part of a bigger operation, Channel 2 Action News reported.
Henry County police released photos of three suspects accused of robbing the Home Depot on Fairview Road twice last month. In both incidents, the suspects loaded a cart with tools and left after showing employees they had a gun, Channel 2 reported.
Police told the news station they believe the same three suspects targeted the Home Depot on Lawrenceville Highway in Decatur three times recently, including one instance where they pointed a gun at an employee. They’re allegedly using a Gold Chrysler Pacifica with an Ohio tag (#HQC9869) as their getaway car.
While holding the employee at gunpoint, one of the suspects said, “I love my people, but don’t make me use this,” according to an incident report obtained by Channel 2. The suspects stole more than $2,000 worth of merchandise in that burglary, police said.
In March, Henry County police said a man and woman had stolen from Home Depots in Fayetteville, Griffin, Lovejoy, LaGrange, Newnan and Riverdale, totaling nine separate robberies, AJC.com previously reported.

During one of the burglaries in February, the suspects allegedly pepper-sprayed a loss prevention officer as they left with power tools and batteries worth $100 to $300.
Police have now identified those suspects as Gregory Demond Woodward, 43, and Tasha Wilson, 42, according to Channel 2.
Woodward is a felon who has served four stints in prison since 1996, and he was released from Autry State Prison in December 2018 on parole, according to Georgia Department of Corrections records. His convictions include criminal trespassing and burglary in Cobb County among other charges.
