Cobb driver who died in crash with mailbox identified
Cobb County police are looking for information on a weekend accident that left one person dead.
Kevin. S. Pope, 49 of Powder Springs, died Saturday in a crash in the 4100 block of Hiram Lithia Springs Road, Cobb police Officer Alicia Chilton said Tuesday.
Pope was southbound on Hiram Lithia Springs Road when, for reasons unknown, the vehicle veered off the road and collided with a large brick mailbox, Chilton said.
The accident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 770-499-3987.
