Clayton County police are seeking the public’s help in locating Dantae Lamar Jones, who is a suspect in the slaying of 17-year-old Jalen Camron of Riverdale.

On Saturday evening, someone at the 100 block of Gristmill Court in Riverdale called the police and said they heard two pops followed by a banging at the rear door and a person screaming for help, according to a statement from the police department.

First responders found Camron’s body face down, having succumbed to fatal injuries, police said.

Detectives obtained a murder warrant for Jones “based on information obtained during the preliminary investigation.”
