Clayton County police investigating deadly shooting
Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Clayton County on Tuesday night.
Just before 7:30 p.m., officers responded to a cardiac arrest call at a home off Garden Lake Drive, Clayton County police said in a news release. The scene is within the Reserve at Garden Lake apartment complex.
However, when officers arrived, they learned the victim did not undergo cardiac arrest. The victim had been shot.
The victim, whose name has not been released, died as a result of the gunshot wound, police said. No suspect has been identified in the case.
