Clayton County police now suspect foul play in the disappearance of a 36-year-old woman missing since November.

Stephanie Carr was last seen on or about Nov. 28, 2015, after she was dropped off at a Burger King restaurant in the 6400 block of Tara Boulevard in Jonesboro, Clayton police said Wednesday. She was reported missing on Jan. 6.

“After further investigation into the facts surrounding Stephanie Carr’s disappearance, Clayton County Police Department detectives suspect foul play and are seeking the assistance of the public to provide any information that they may have regarding Stephanie’s disappearance,” Clayton police Sgt. Ashanti Marbury said.

It was not clear why Carr was reported missing more than one month after her disappearance. And police did not release the details of the investigation that led them to suspect foul play in the woman’s disappearance.

Carr is 5-foot-5, 120 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing dark colored clothing and flip flops.
