Two men and a woman were found shot dead inside a Clayton County apartment Tuesday night in what started as a call about a domestic dispute, according to police.

Officers found the three people — Robert Dixon, 26, of Riverdale; Mario Collier, 27, of College Park; and Lakisha Davis, 23, of College Park — with apparent gunshot wounds inside a Lakeview Trail apartment unit off Riverdale Road.

Two children ages 3 and 6, were inside the house when the shooting occurred, Clayton County spokeswoman Sgt. Ashanti Marbury said in a release. They were later given to their mother.

Police were first called to the scene for a report of a domestic dispute but that they left after no one answered the door, Marbury said. Officers were called back to the apartment by family members who found the three bodies a couple of hours later.

Drug paraphernalia was found inside the apartment, which led detectives to believe the shootings were drug related, Marbury said.

Two men were seen leaving the general area of the apartment when police arrived for the first call, she said. A sketch of them was released Wednesday afternoon.
