Two people are facing murder and drug charges after Friday's fatal shooting at an apartment complex in unincorporated Lawrenceville, Gwinnett police said.

Also, three other people are facing drug charges after the incident at the Lake Sweetwater Apartments, police spokesman Sgt. R.E. Long said Saturday.

The victim has been identified as Noel Reed, 20, of the Duluth area, Long said.

The suspects were detained shortly after they ran from the scene at 3100 Sweetwater Road after the shooting, Long said. All five suspects are in the Gwinnett County Detention Center.

Sean Swanson, 23, and Tia Coleman, 17, are charged with murder, aggravated assault and possession with intent to distribute marijuana, Long said.

Dominic Fullwood, Darquez Fullwood and Terrell McCallum, all 23, are charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, Long said. McCallum is also charged with failure to appear.

Police said all five suspects went to meet with Reed to sell marijuana. At the meeting, Reed produced a handgun and attempted to rob them of the marijuana.

One of the suspects produced a handgun and fired, striking Reed, Long said.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
