More than a dozen worshipers at a southwest Atlanta church came out morning services Sunday to find their vehicles broken into, police said.

The 14 victims at Ben Hill Christian Church on Sunset Drive told investigators that they parked along the roadway about 10 a.m. Sunday and went into the church, and discovered their cars broken into when they came out about 11:15.

“There were no witnesses, and no video camera in the area,” Atlanta police Officer K. Jean-Baptiste wrote in an incident report obtained Monday by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “One of the victims stated that someone called her advising that she had found her book bag somewhere along Camp Creek Parkway.”

According to the report, blood was found on two of the vehicles.
