One man is in custody and police are looking for two others after a pair of weekend armed robberies in Dunwoody and Sandy Springs.

And investigators are asking for the public’s help.

Marquez Hodge, 21, was arrested Monday in southwest Atlanta on charges stemming from the two auto robberies the night before, police said. Dunwoody Police charged him with armed robbery and theft by taking a motor vehicle.

Sunday night, a woman said three young men robbed her about 10:30 p.m. at the Chateau at Dunwoody apartments at 4430 Tilly Mill according to Officer Timothy Fecht, a Dunwoody Police spokesman.

When someone stuck a gun to her back, demanding her belongings, she handed over her purse and the men took car keys from it and stole her car, Fecht said.

Just before that robbery, police say a carjacking was reported in nearby Sandy Springs by men fitting the same descriptions.

Dunwoody Police investigators tracked Hodge to Greenbriar Mall in Atlanta on Monday and arrested him with help from Atlanta Police, Fecht said.

Stolen property from both robberies was recovered, as well as two handguns.

Hodge is being held without bond at the Fulton County Jail. He also faces charges of financial transaction card theft, armed robbery, hijacking of a motor vehicle, aggravated assault, theft by receiving stolen property and obstruction, according to Fulton County Jail records.
