Police are looking for the person who stole a car from a College Park gas station while a child was inside.

Tutu Payne, 34, called Clayton County police Monday and said her car was stolen from the Quiktrip on Riverdale Road, authorities said. Her young niece was inside the car when it was taken, she told police.

Officers later found the car in the area, and the child was unharmed inside.

Police are looking at the store’s video surveillance footage to determine who stole the car. An investigation is ongoing.
