A man was seriously injured when a car hit him on Barrett Parkway in Cobb County Tuesday morning, police said.
Robert Boldin, 26, of Powder Springs, was hit about 4 a.m. when he tried to cross the road, officer S.A. O’Hara said.
Investigators said a 2001 Lincoln Town Car driven by Michael Wilder, 51, of Dallas, was heading north approaching Stilesboro Road when Boldin tried to cross the road from east to west, police said.

The car hit Boldin, who was not in a marked crosswalk and was not at an intersection, according to O’Hara. The car came to a stop in the northbound left turn lane, and Boldin came to rest in the northbound lanes of Barrett Parkway.
Boldin was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment.
