A man released in October after serving 5 years in prison on a burglary conviction has been arrested on new charges in connection with 14 burglaries at Sandy Springs office buildings.

Ricky Ricardo Turner, 51, of Atlanta, started hitting commercial buildings in the area of Peachtree-Dunwoody Road as well as Hammond and Glenridge drives in December, Sandy Springs police Sgt. Sam Worsham said Friday. The burglaries continued through this month.

Turner was captured after a months-long investigation. He now faces multiple charges, including 14 counts of second-degree burglary, 11 counts of felony theft by taking and two counts of misdemeanor theft by taking.

Turner is currently being held in the Fulton County Jail with no bond, Worsham said.
