Three men were shot in the Bankhead neighborhood of northwest Atlanta on Thursday afternoon, police said.

Just before 2:45 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Law Street and found three men with gunshot wounds, Atlanta police spokesman Anthony Grant said. One was grazed in the head, the second was alert at the scene and the third was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

The three men were “engaged in a dispute,” which led to gunfire, Grant said. The shooting took place in a wooded area near a “mini-junkyard where people hang out,” he added.

Officers are still searching for a suspect believed to be involved in the shooting, Grant said.
