Rapper and reality TV personality Jim Jones was one of four people arrested in Coweta County after a brief police chase, authorities confirmed Thursday.

Joseph Guillermo Jones, 41, faces multiple charges, including theft by receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, narcotics possession and marijuana possession, the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office said.

Investigator Jeremy Wood said he saw a gray Mercedes SUV drift into the left-hand emergency lane several times while traveling southbound on I-85 Wednesday night.

When Wood pulled the vehicle over, he said the car appeared to be filled with smoke and smelled of marijuana, the sheriff’s office said. The driver, Ana Rajnee Miles, then allegedly attempted to flee.

The short police chase ended on Griffin Street when Wood pulled in front of the SUV and was intentionally struck by the driver, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies allegedly found 23 Oxycodone pills and a Titan .25 caliber pistol with seven bullets in a backpack on the backseat. Marijuana and another handgun, which was reportedly stolen from DeKalb County in March, were also allegedly found in the vehicle. Another backpack in the back of the SUV allegedly contained more Oxycodone, Percocet and THC oil.

Authorities said Jones admitted to deputies he had been smoking marijuana but denied that any of the marijuana found in the vehicle was his. He said he had a prescription for the pills but did not have it on him, the sheriff’s office said. He also denied knowing about the firearms in the vehicle.

All four people in the car were taken to Newnan Piedmont Hospital for medical clearance before being booked into the Coweta County Jail on Thursday morning, the sheriff’s office said.

Miles was charged with aggravated assault, fleeing/attempting to elude police, theft by receiving stolen property, narcotics possession, marijuana possession, aggressive driving and failure to maintain lane, the sheriff’s office said.

Darnell Maurice Wright, 31, and Jamal Rajhun Smith, 32, were charged with narcotics possession, marijuana possession and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, the sheriff’s office said. Smith also faces a charge of theft by receiving stolen property.

Bond has not been set, the sheriff’s office confirmed.

Jones is a rapper from the Bronx who has appeared on the VH1 show "Love & Hip Hop: New York" and starred in the reality show "Chrissy & Mr. Jones." His hit song "We Fly High" peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2007, according to Billboard.com.

He was also a founding member of the hip-hop collective The Diplomats. He released his seventh solo album “Wasted Talent” on April 13.
