Police officer, 3 others injured in crash on Ga. 78 near I-285

A police officer and three others were injured in a crash Monday on Ga. 78 near I-285, DeKalb County police said.
Police have not said what caused the crash, but it involved four cars. According to Channel 2 Action News, the wreck began when the officer hit a pickup truck, causing a “chain reaction.”

“The officer was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries,” DeKalb police spokeswoman Shiera Campbell told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The three other people were also taken to the hospital with physical complaints, she said.
Delays were reported as far back as Brockett Road, Channel 2 reported.
