Officer stabbed, suspect shot in northwest Georgia
The GBI is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Rossville.
The GBI is investigating after an officer was stabbed and a suspect was shot Monday in northwest Georgia, Walker County dispatch told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The shooting occurred about 5 p.m. at the intersection of LaFayette Drive and Caledonia Street in Rossville, authorities said. The officer and suspect were taken to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. Their conditions were not released.
GBI spokeswoman Nelly Miles said they are still gathering details on the shooting.
