A man was shot and killed at a DeKalb County convenience store Monday afternoon, authorities said.

The deadly shooting happened at the Quick Stop at 1101 North Hairston Road in unincorporated Stone Mountain, police told AJC.com. About 6:30 p.m., officers found the man on the ground in the doorway with a gunshot wound.

The man later died at an area hospital, police said. No suspects are in custody.

No other details have been released. An investigation is ongoing.

This was the first of two deadly shooting in DeKalb within two hours Monday evening. A man was killed in a triple shooting at a gas station off Wesley Chapel Road around 8 p.m. Police do not believe the two shootings are connected.
