A man was shot in the arm Wednesday morning during a dispute outside a Cobb County gas station, police said.

Two men were arguing at the pumps of the South Cobb Drive QuikTrip, Smyrna police spokesman Officer Louis Defense told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Police do not yet know what led to the fight, but confirmed one man shot the other man in the arm. That man was rushed to WellStar Kennestone Hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening, Defense said.

“We’re trying to nail down exactly what the dispute was about,” he said.

The names and ages of the men involved have not been released. The alleged shooter has been detained by police.
