One man is dead and two other people are injured after a triple shooting at a DeKalb County gas station Monday evening, authorities said.

Just after 8 p.m., officers responded to the Shell Gas Station at 2345 Wesley Chapel Road in unincorporated Decatur to find a man unresponsive at a gas pump, DeKalb police told AJC.com. The man later died.

Two other people with gunshot wounds were found nearby, police said. One was found in a nearby McDonald’s restaurant, while the other was inside the lobby of the gas station.

They were both taken to a local hospital and are stable, police said. No suspects are in custody.

An investigation is ongoing.

This incident came only about 90 minutes after another fatal shooting in DeKalb, where a man was shot and killed at a convenience store off North Hairston Road. Police do not believe the two shootings are connected.
