A man was rushed to a hospital Monday night after he was shot multiple times in southwest Atlanta.

The victim, who was not identified, was found with several gunshot wounds in the 100 block of Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard outside a neighborhood park near the Ashby MARTA station, according to Atlanta police. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

As of Tuesday morning, the man was stable, police spokesman Officer Jarius Daugherty said. Police continue looking for a shooter.

“Investigators are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting,” Daugherty told AJC.com.
