Fulton County police arrested a man accused of opening fire on a neighborhood cookout, injuring a 3-year-old boy, a 5-year-old girl and an adult.
Demetrius Gordon, 23, faces three aggravated assault and two weapons charges in the April 20 shooting, Fulton police chief Gary Stiles said at a news conference Tuesday afternoon.
Gordon is believed to be the primary shooter, but police are seeking four others. Police believe he is a gang member.
Fulton officials arrested Gordon at his College Park home Monday afternoon after following up on a tip about his nickname, Meeko. Police had already recovered the SUV the suspect was in at the time of the shooting.

No motive was given, but Stiles said revenge may have been involved. The adult victim, whose name has not been released, is believed to have been the target.
Children were playing in an inflatable bounce house when the shooting happened in the 1000 block of Buckhurst Drive in south Fulton County. Lawrence Williams, 3, was shot in the back. He has since been released from the hospital. The 5-year-old girl, whose name was not released, remains in stable condition.
Police say two long rifles and handguns were used. Gordon remains in the Fulton County jail.
In November, Gordon was released from Hays State Prison, where he served just over four years for hijacking a motor vehicle and aggravated assault, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections.
