Pedestrian killed in Clayton County crash

All lanes are open on Tara Boulevard near Valley Hill Road after a driver hit and killed a pedestrian Wednesday afternoon, Clayton County authorities said.

The victim has not been identified, but police said he was struck near the intersection. Police did not say what led to the deadly crash.

The driver remained on the scene.

Earlier, all lanes of Valley Hill Road leading to Tara Boulevard were shut down and one lane of Tara Boulevard was closed.
