Authorities on Friday captured a felon with a lengthy criminal history who was reported missing from an Atlanta transitional center two days before.

Courtney Adrius Lee absconded from the center on Ponce de Leon Avenue, where he was finishing his sentence for forgery, cocaine possession and a motor vehicle violation out of Cobb County.

Authorities have not said when or how Lee left the facility. He was recaptured Friday morning in Marietta, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections.

It was Lee’s fifth stint in a Georgia prison facility. He was convicted in multiple other cases out of Cobb on charges ranging from obstruction to drug possession to theft, state prison records show.
