Shortly after police said an armed woman took a car with four children inside in southwest Atlanta on Saturday, officers found the children safe and the car nearby.

The incident began in the 1900 block of Allison Court, Atlanta police spokesman Donald Hannah said.

Police said Imani Wiliams, 13, Brianna Williams, 4, Bryson Williams, 2, and Cloy Griffin, 1, were taken.

Authorities issued a lookout for a black 2016 Nissan Versa with Georgia tag CFH1483, police said. The car was found on Ga. 166 near Delowe Drive, Hannah said.

The woman was detained. Her identity was not released.

Officials had issued a Levi’s Call, Georgia’s version of an Amber Alert.
