Authorities are investigating another overdose case in Middle Georgia related to fake Percocet pills, the Georgia Poison Center reported.
A hospital told the Georgia Poison Center it was aggressively treating a person about 5 a.m. Sunday, Georgia Poison Center Dr. Gaylord Lopez said.
Few details have been released about the incident near Macon.
But Lopez said the patient was unconscious, unresponsive and had to be put on a breathing machine.
Since last weekend, 33 people were affected by drug overdoses in Middle and South Georgia, officials said.
Another four died — two in Bibb County and one each in Monroe and Houston counties.

The drug at the center of the mass overdose investigation is being sold on the streets as the pain medication Percocet and can cause severe levels of unconsciousness and respiratory failure, said Chris Hendry, chief medical officer at Navicent Health in Macon.
The Georgia Poison Center is working with hospitals and gathering more information to determine whether these additional cases are connected to earlier reported overdoses, Channel 2 reported.
The GBI does not yet know what the drug is, but officials said the number of deaths may continue to increase.
In Atlanta, police were investigating a man’s death on Chasten Drive in Buckhead on Friday that might be drug related. It, however, isn’t related to overdoses elsewhere in the state.
No other details were released in the recent overdose case.
