420 pounds of meth seized in North Fulton, DeKalb busts; 8 arrested

Two crystal methamphetamine busts in metro Atlanta on Saturday seized nearly $1.7 million worth of drugs, according to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
About 300 pounds of meth was found at a home off Mountain Road in Milton, the DEA told Channel 2 Action News. Seven people were arrested, all of whom are Mexican nationals.

A second bust in the 4300 block of Hearn Road in unincorporated Ellenwood in DeKalb County also led to an arrest, the DEA told Channel 2. About 120 pounds of meth was found at this location. Both locations are connected to a large scale investigation the DEA has been conducting.

The suspects’ names have not been released, and no other information on this incident has been provided.
