Police now know who was killed after two people on a walking trail found a man’s body in Henry County woods.

The body of Robert Ezra Craddock, 58, was found about 3:15 p.m. Saturday on Acacia Drive in Stockbridge, Henry police Maj. Mike Ireland said.

Investigators responded to the scene and determined the body had been there between one and two days, Ireland said.

“Investigators were unable to locate any obvious injury to the victim,” Ireland said.

The victim was taken to the GBI office, where an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

“At this time, the circumstances surrounding the death is uncertain pending the result of the GBI autopsy,” Ireland said.
