Police are investigating after a body was discovered behind a Forest Park laundromat Saturday morning, authorities said.

Investigators said the body of an unidentified black man was discovered behind the shopping center in the 4100 block of Jonesboro Road about 9 a.m.

Police have not said how the man died.

Detectives are at the scene collecting evidence and anyone with information about the case is asked to call investigators at 404-366-4141.

In other news: 

The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. at the Texaco station along Windy Hill Road near the Interstate 75 on ramp.
