Police used the cellphone of a carjacking victim to track down two men who took a car from two women in northwest Atlanta early Thursday.

The men, who were arrested after a police chase, have been charged with hijacking a motor vehicle, armed robbery and firearms and traffic offenses, the Atlanta police said.

Roderick Pullins, 18, and Karon Samuel Davis, 19, were arrested after they crashed at I-75 southbound and I-285, according to a police report. They received minor injuries in the wreck and were chased down on foot, the report said.

The car was taken at gunpoint from two women outside apartments on Huff Road in northwest Atlanta just after 12 a.m. Thursday, the report said.

Police were able to track the men to southwest Atlanta through a signal from a cellphone that had been left in the car, the report said
