At least 2 on the run after Atlanta police officer hit by stolen car

Authorities are searching for at least two people after an Atlanta police officer was hit by a stolen car about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday.
The officer was assisting Fulton County police officers with tracing two stolen vehicles —a grey Dodge Charger and a white or cream colored Infiniti Q50 —in the 1600 block of Hollywood Road, Atlanta police Officer Stephanie Brown said.
Brown said as the Atlanta officer was entering a gated community in northwest Atlanta, the stolen Infiniti quickly exited the gate and hit the officer.

The officer, who has not been identified, sustained injuries to his shoulder and wrist and is in stable condition.
An Atlanta officer fired a shot at the car as it drove off, Brown said. The Infiniti was eventually recovered in the 2500 block of Center Street. Authorities recovered the Dodge Charger on Hollywood Road.
Brown said no one else was injured.
No descriptions of the suspects were released.
