Two missing children who were taken Sunday night from a southeast Atlanta apartment have been found safe, police said Monday afternoon.

Jada and Ondarious Woods were reported missing by their mother just before 9:10 p.m. Sunday, Atlanta police spokeswoman Officer Kim Jones said.

They were taken from an apartment in the 600 block of New Town Circle, she said.

Police suspected Jada, 4, and Ondarious, 3, might have been with their father, identified as 28-year-old Jimmy Woods.

Jones did not say where the children were located or if their father was in police custody.
