The family of a 16-year-old shot and killed in Atlanta in 2008 may finally learn who was responsible.

Atlanta police arrested Brandon Williams on Friday in connection with the May 10, 2008, fatal shooting of Corey Coleman, who was 16.

Initial investigative work revealed Coleman and Williams had been “engaged in an ongoing dispute for approximately one year, which escalated into the shooting,” Atlanta police spokesman Lukasz Sajdak said Sunday.

Several witnesses have been identified and given statements to police.
