Police are investigating after a 16-year-old was killed in a double shooting in a southeast Atlanta neighborhood Thursday night.

Officers responded to the 1000 block of Redford Drive about 8:30 p.m. and found the teenager and a 20-year-old man who had both been shot, Atlanta police said. They were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where the juvenile died.

The other shooting victim, Lovett Tennie, is stable at the hospital.

No other information on the shooting has been released. No suspects are in custody.

On Friday, investigators were back at the scene to continue the investigation. The scene is within the Rebel Valley Forest neighborhood.
