Athens man arrested in killing of man near Avondale Estates
DeKalb County deputies have arrested a man in Athens on the charge of murdering a man near Avondale Estates, the sheriff’s office announced Thursday.
On Wednesday George Houser was charged with killing Guy Oliano and wounding Emanuel Kai Kai during an armed robbery and shooting inside an apartment at Willow Ridge Way, said Cynthia Williams, spokeswoman for the DeKalb sheriff.
In June, police were called to a shooting at the apartment complex off of Rockbridge Road.
