Arrest warrants have been filed after three pit bulls viciously attacked a 9-year-old boy and the neighbor who tried to help him, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Loganville police obtained the warrants, which charge the owner with two counts of reckless conduct, the news station reported. The owner’s name has not been released.

Channel 2 spoke to the neighbor who risked her life to save the child.

Svetlana Reut said she saw the pit bulls jump on the boy last Wednesday in the 300 block of Big Game Way in Loganville and sprang into action to get them off the child.
