Three weeks after a grandmother was pinned between her car and a gas pump during a wreck, DeKalb County police said they have made an arrest in the case.
Keziah Vann, 20, faces a charge of making false statements to police in connection with the crime, Channel 2 Action New reported. Police are still searching for the driver of the car that caused the wreck and two other passengers, all believed to be in their 20s.
Police believe Vann knows who was driving the car at the time of the crash. She remained in the DeKalb County jail Thursday.

On Aug. 20, Stacy Moore, 61, was at a pump at a Lithonia gas station at the intersection of Covington Highway and Evans Mill Road when a car sped into the parking lot.
Police said it crashed into a pickup truck, causing it to hit a Nissan SUV. The SUV then slammed into Moore’s car, pinning her against the gas pump. Her grandchildren were still inside.
The suspects ran from the scene.
Moore was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she had to have her leg amputated, family told Channnel 2. She has since been transferred to a rehabilitation facility.
