A man suspected of opening fire at a driver stopped at a red light has been captured, authorities said Tuesday.

Jeremy Washington was arrested in connection with the March 14 shooting of three men, Cynthia Williams, a spokeswoman for the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, said in a news release.

He is charged with felony murder and two counts of aggravated assault.

Washington was driving a white SUV when he allegedly fired at a black Ford Mustang near a Citgo gas station in the 3000 block of Moreland Avenue.

Darius Davenport, 32, was killed and two passengers were critically injured after being struck in the face, Williams said.

The three men had just left a nightclub, Williams said.

Washington was in custody Tuesday at the DeKalb County jail.
