Arrest made after woman beat with pool stick in Hall County

Daron Edward Hurley is accused of repeatedly hitting a woman he lives with in her face with a pool stick, causing serious injuries, authorities said.

A man is accused of repeatedly hitting a woman he lives with in her face with a pool stick, causing serious injuries, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested Daron Edward Hurley, 36, of Hoschton, without incident Tuesday.

The woman was injured in the head and face and had a broken nose after the incident in the 7100 block of Wrights Lane, Lt. Scott Ware said.

Hurley is being held at the Hall County jail. No bond has been set at this time, Ware said.
