Henry County police say they are seeking a man after a domestic-related slaying Tuesday in unincorporated Stockbridge.

Tory Leroy Jones, 44, allegedly killed Elimisha Maryetta Gates, 40, of Atlanta, in her hotel room at 619 West Highway 138, Henry police Capt. Joey Smith said.

Police did not release details of the incident.

Jones is considered armed and dangerous, Smith said. Jones was last seen in the area of Jonesboro and Stockbridge driving a maroon 2002 Mazda Tribute with gray trim and a drive-out tag.

Jones is 6-foot-5, weighs 225 pounds and walks with a limp, Smith said. He may be attempting to leave the state.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call Henry police at 770-288-8254.
