An Alpharetta woman was arrested on New Year’s Eve for allegedly driving drunk and crashing her car while her 9-year-old daughter was in the backseat, authorities said.

Iryana Sokolan, 30, faces DUI and child endangerment charges in the incident that happened just before 10 p.m., Forsyth County sheriff’s spokesman Doug Rainwater told AJC.com.

The wreck happened on Wendlebury Court. It was also not clear if Sokolan or the child sustained any injuries.

Sokolan bonded out of the Forsyth County Jail the next day for $9,535, Rainwater said.
