For roughly two weeks, authorities say Jacob Thomas Adkinson scaled the roofs of businesses and stole the electronics.

The 41-year-old eventually confessed to the alleged crimes after he set off the alarm in one business and fled the scene, Channel 2 Action News reported. Police tracked him down using security cameras.

Adkinson’s alleged crime spree began Dec. 17 at Soul Delicious 2, according to arrest warrants. Authorities say he hid in the business overnight and stole eight flat-screen TVs.

Warrants allege Adkinson burglarized driving simulation business TinyTowne three days later and “spent a good deal of time” stealing and stacking computers and IT equipment. However, his plan was foiled once he triggered the motion sensor alarm and ran out of the business with only a few items.

A week later, on Dec. 25, Adkinson again set off an alarm at Mac Papers and ran from the business, authorities said. The next day, authorities said he made off with “various products from the warehouse” behind Wyseland of Georgia.

Police eventually arrested Adkinson on Dec. 26. He remains in the Gwinnett County jail without bond.
