A woman accused of abusing her adopted children turned herself in early Wednesday, Monroe police confirmed.
Brenda Faye Brown faces charges of battery family violence and cruelty to children in the first and third degree, officials wrote in a release. Further details on Brown’s arrest and circumstances behind the charges were not released.
