Two days after an Atlanta man was gunned down inside his own home, the checkbook belonging to his fiancee was used at a bank and store, police said Wednesday.

Atlanta police released pictures of the three people who allegedly used the checkbook stolen when Jerrick Jackson, 47, was killed May 7. Two people seen in surveillance images using stolen checks turned themselves in and were being interviewed at Atlanta police headquarters late Wednesday night, Officer John Chafee said.

Jackson, the younger brother of prominent Bishop Wiley Jackson, was killed during a robbery at his Lowe Street home in northwest Atlanta, according to police. Jerrick Jackson and his fiancee had just returned home from a fast-food restaurant around 1 a.m. when they were approached by several males with guns drawn, police previously said.

After robbing Jackson and his fiancee of a wallet and purse, the suspects ordered the couple inside the home, where Jackson was shot.

On May 9, an unidentified man and woman used a checkbook stolen during the robbery at an Atlanta Target store on Caroline Drive and another woman used an item from the same victim at the Bank of America branch on Windy Hill Road in Cobb County, police said Wednesday. Surveillance cameras at both businesses captured all three, as well as a picture of the car in which the two people at Target were believed to be traveling.

Investigators are asking anyone with information in the case to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
