A Troup County man was arrested twice within three days.

The first arrest was due to five pounds of drugs found inside his home, while the second came after he tried to intimidate a narcotics investigator while out on bond, authorities said.

Jon Caleb Estes, 29, of Hogansville, is accused of posting a picture of the investigator and his wife on social media along with his full name, the Troup County Sheriff’s Office said. Authorities said Estes did so “with the intent to influence, delay or prevent the testimony of persons in an upcoming court proceeding,” according to a news release.

Estes legal troubles began Monday when narcotics investigators executed a search warrant at his home, the release said. The sheriff’s office said three pounds of marijuana and two pounds of “shatter,” which is a marijuana extract also known as “Butane Honey Oil,” were seized during the operation.

Estes was charged with a count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, which are both felonies.

After posting bond, authorities found Estes’ attempt to intimidate the investigator on Thursday, the sheriff’s office said. He was taken into custody on a count of influencing a witness.
