Comedian Dick Gregory to headline CAU homecoming event Tuesday

Comedian and activist Dick Gregory will participate in an open interview hosted by Clark Atlanta University professor and renowned author Daniel Black as a part of CAU’s homecoming week activities. The program starts at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bishop Cornelius L. Henderson Student Center on the CAU campus, 223 James P. Brawley Drive. Under the theme, “Eye of the Panther,” homecoming week involves more than 10,000 alumni, parents, community leaders and friends of the university. They will gather on campus to celebrate 26 years since the consolidation of Atlanta University and Clark College.
