A 29-year-old Cobb County woman was shot to death during an armed robbery in a parking lot, police said Sunday.

Investigators were called to 1391 Veterans Memorial Parkway in Mableton shortly after 9:20 p.m. Saturday after a report that a woman had been shot, Officer Mike Bowman with Cobb police said. Witnesses told police the shooting happened during a robbery in the parking lot of a Dollar General, Bowman said.

Fabiola Zabaleta, of Mableton, was taken by ambulance to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, but did not survive, according to police.

Police have not identified the three suspects, including a possible getaway driver, who was driving a four-door sedan.

Witnesses described two suspects as being black or Hispanic, both between 5-feet-5 and 5-feet-7 inches tall, according to police. One man weighed about 150 pounds, was last seen wearing a dark blue hoodie and had a small, silver handgun. The second man weighed about 140 pounds, was wearing a red hoodie and was armed with a handgun.
