Clayton County police are “extremely concerned” about a 77-year-old man who was reported missing Sunday.

A Mattie’s Call has been issued and authorities are trying to find Zeddi P. Jones “based on his medical history, need for medication, and current cancer treatment,” police spokeswoman JaQuitta Williams said in an email Monday.

Jones was last seen Sunday around 12:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of Jackson Lane in Ellenwood. He was driving a blue Buick Park Avenue with Georgia tag PCB7481.

Jones is described as a black man, 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair. He was wearing a jean shirt, blue pants, and a black and gray hat with 911 on the side.

He is prone to having seizures and takes medication for his condition, police said.

Anyone with information on Jones’ location should contact the Clayton County Police Department at 770-477-3648 or call 911.
